Apostolic Administrator makes first Lenten solemn entry into the Holy Sepulcher
lpj.org :

At the beginning of this Lent, Most Rev. Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, made his first solemn entry into the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Throughout Lent, each Saturday will be marked by a solemn procession in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher with the Apostolic Administrator, bishops, priests, canons of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher and Franciscan and Latin Patriarchal seminarians.

Traditionally, the procession moves around the Basilica and stops at the places of the different highlights of the Passion of Christ, inside the Church, to pray for a few moments in the company of the faithful. In this way, the Administrator perpetuates a tradition inherited from the status quo that governs the Holy Place.
