Patriarch of Alexandria: "Now, Christians of Egypt are more stable than before"

Patriarch of Alexandria for the Coptic Catholic Ibrahim Isaac has declared, during his participation in the Security Conference which held in Munich that the situation of the Christians in Egypt nowadays is more stable than before. He acknowledged during his speech that "Egypt always shows her welcome to all passengers".

He confirmed that the Christians of Egypt enjoy their rights in full. He added that the efforts of the Egyptian president Abdul Fatah Sisi to develop Egypt have contributed effectly to the stability and security. He also reaffirmed that "if Europe wants to cooperate with Egypt; the first step is the recognizing of the important period Egypt is going through now in order to face terrorism, also to encourage the government efforts to rebuild Egypt."
