CCSM takes part in the KAICIID sessions

The Catholic Center for Studies and Media, represented by Ms. Marcelle Jwainat, took part in the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) sessions of the International Fellowship of Interfaith Dialogue that convened recently.

A total of 24 people from 12 countries took part in the meetings which aimed at promoting the use of dialogue globally so as to prevent and resolve conflict, to enhance understanding and cooperation as well as to foster dialogue among people of different faiths and cultures that bridges animosities, reduces fear and instills mutual respect.

The participates in the sessions received training program that facilitate dialogue by giving these them the tools, experience, networks and knowledge to pursue interreligious dialogue and further be able to become facilitators and leaders in interreligious dialogue. Furthermore, they were introduced to interreligious dialogue training, and how to be active peace practitioners in their respective communities.
