Hungarian official visits Caritas Jordan, Our Lady of Peace Center

On Wednesday, November 6, Mr. Tristan Azbej, the Hungarian State Secretary for the Aid of Persecuted Christians and for 'the Hungary Helps Program' at the Hungarian prime minister's office, visited the main offices of Caritas Jordan where he was welcomed by Caritas Jordan Director Wael Suleiman and members of staff.
During the visit, Mr. Tristan Azbej was introduced to the humanitarian services provided by Caritas Jordan to all shades of the Jordanian society which includes citizens and the forcibly displaced Syrians and Iraqis.
Later, Mr. Tristan Azbej visited Our Lady of Peace Center where he was welcomed by Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop William Shomali, Patriarch Fouad Twal, Director of Our Lady of Peace Center Fr. Shawqi Baterian, and Caritas members of staff.
During the visit, Mr. Azbej was briefed on the services provided by Caritas for the forcibly displaced Syrians and Iraqis. He also toured Our Lady of Peace Center during which Fr. Baterian presented a briefing on the center and the services it provides for the children with disabilities.
