Knights of the Holy Sepulcher visit Bethlehem University

Bethlehem University hosted on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem (EOHSJ) - Lieutenancy of England and Wales. The new Lieutenant for England and Wales His Excellency Michael Byrne, KCHS, with a group of Knights and Dames thrilled the University with their presence.

Brother Peter Bray, Vice Chancellor of Bethlehem University, welcomed the group on campus and expressed his sincere gratitude for the support that the Knights continue to provide to Bethlehem University.

A welcoming lunch was served to the guests who conversed with the students and staff. Then, the group were taken by the magnificent artwork that surrounded the University’s Chapel of the Divine Child and the history shared with them.

A discussion followed with Student Ambassadors where the guests were able to hear first-hand experiences of young students in Bethlehem.

Accompanying His Excellency were other Knights and Dames, including Professor Paul F. Worthington who gave a lecture on “Being an Effective Professional in the Modern Workplace” to Bethlehem University community.

In his presentation, Prof. Worthington outlined five key elements to chart a path towards a proficient and meaningful professional life. Furno Hall, where the event took place, was well attended by students and faculty.

The EOHSJ is dedicated to preserving Christian life in the Holy Land through regular solidarity visits, funding and scholarships to the University.
