Seminar “Religions and the Dignity of Life" launched in Amman

The sessions of the fifth dialogue seminar between the Vatican Pontifical Council for Interfaith Dialogue and the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies were launched on Wednesday May 9, 2018 to complement the decade-old cooperation between the two parties.

The seminar is titled: “Religions and the Dignity of Life, Views of the Islamic and Christian Religions”.

The Jordanian side was chaired by HRH Prince Hassan, chairman of the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies' board of trustees, while the Vatican side was chaired by Archbishop Miguel Ozo, representing Cardinal Jean-Louis Pierre Cardinal Tauran, president of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

Sister Marie Kairouz is scheduled to hold a hymn celebration, the first of its kind in Jordan, on the first day of the seminar at the Palace of Culture in Amman.
