A Tony Blair Institute for Global Change delegation visits CCSM

A delegation from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) visited the Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) in Amman on Wednesday, August 9.

The delegation included TBI Director of Programs Mr. Matthew Lawrence, Head of Education and Training Division Mr. Jan Jameson, Director of Generation Global Dr. Iyad Abu Ghosh, and Director of Generation Global in Palestine Ms. Laila D'aibes.

The delegation met with CCSM Director Fr. Rif'at Bader, and discussed educational matters which the TBI aims to implement in several countries. Talks also focused on future partnerships with youths designed to enhance humane feelings towards others and mutual respect among followers of all religions. The delegation also visited the Caritas-affiliated Restaurant of Mercy and got acquainted with the free meals offered on daily bases to the poor and the needy without any discrimination.

The TBI is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making globalization work for the many, not the few. It offers new thinking and new approaches to addressing some of the most intractable problems leaders today are wrestling with. It works to provide policy and strategy in support of a vision of globalization designed to improve the well-being of the people, economically, politically, and socially.
