Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Majd Shwaikeh has named Director of the Catholic Center for Studies and Media Fr. Dr. Rif’at Bader as member of the National Tourism Council in Jordan.
The minister of tourism and antiquities, Majd Shwaikeh, has sent the following message to Fr. Dr. Rif’at Bader which states, “Based on Article (5/أ/15) of the Tourist Law No. 20 issued in 1988 and its amendments, I have the pleasure to inform you that you have been named as member of the National Tourism Council for two years effective immediately. I wish you success.”
The National Tourism Council is tasked with drawing the general tourist policy in the Kingdom, endorsing plans and programs necessary to implement the policy, and drawing tourist awareness and training plans. The council also proposes draft laws and by-laws relevant to the tourism sector, sets standards for licensing and classifying tourist professions and assigns prices of tourist services.
The Catholic Center for Studies and Media in Jordan conveys heartfelt wishes to Fr. Dr. Rif’at Bader, wishing him success.
