Family is strictly "a father and a mother"

By Munir Bayouk/ :

Since the start of life on Earth God created Adam and then created Eve. In this way, God defined marriage as incorporating "a man and a woman" or rather "a husband and a wife".

This has been the norm of life until today, which enabled humans to multiply and consequently to develop Earth by doing whatever possible to ensure betterment of life on this planet.

This idea is corroborated in the Holy Bible which states that "On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples," (John 2:1-11) and during the wedding, Lord Jesus performed his first miracle by changing water into wine. Lord Jesus Christ's miracle serves as a firm endorsement of marriage between a man and a woman.

In other words, marriage, as both a natural institution and a sacred union, is rooted in God’s plan for creation. The truth that marriage can only exist between a man and a woman is woven deeply into the human spirit. The Church’s teaching on marriage expresses a truth that has also been confirmed by divine Revelation in the Sacred Scripture.

Hungary has recently adopted a daring position that enroots the Sacrament of Marriage and rectifies deviant modem trends which basically violate the divine rules.

In this regard, Hungary’s Parliament has passed a law defining the family as having a woman as the mother and a man as the father, effectively banning adoptions by same-sex couples and complicating adoptions by single people.

The change is the latest of several to be made in recent years in what the government has said are attempts to preserve Hungary’s Christian identity and to boost its plummeting birth rates.

In some countries in the world, governments endorsed same-sex marriage and turned a blind eye to "cohabitations" which blatantly violate the rule of God, and consequently wreak havoc on societies by creating unpredictable problems that have far-reaching effects.

Many countries in the world are complaining about the plummeting number of marriages and consequently the plummeting number of births, which undermines the stability of societies and adversely affects the productive potential of these countries.

This dire situation afflicting these countries is man-made. It is simply the definite outcome of a man-made violation of the rule set by the Almighty God who made plans that can definitely preserve humanity and ensure a bright future by guaranteeing its continuity.

The natural structure of human sexuality makes man and woman complementary partners for expressing conjugal love and transmitting human life. This unique complementarity makes possible the conjugal bond that is the core of marriage.

It is to be admitted that a same-sex union contradicts the nature and purposes of marriage because it is not based on the natural complementarity of male and female. It cannot achieve the natural purpose of union, that is, to cooperate with God to create a new life.

On the other hand, marriage serves as the fundamental pattern for male-female relationships. Furthermore, the marital union also provides the best conditions for raising children namely, as the stable, loving relationship of a mother and father can be present only in marriage.

The Holy Bible entrenches the concept of marriage between a man and a woman, as this is explicitly stated in Ephesians 5:25: "For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her."

Furthermore, the Holy Bible states in Genesis 2:24: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh."

In conclusion, a happy life starts by carefully following the teachings of the Lord which applies to all walks of life as explicitly mentioned in the Holy Bible.
