Bethlehem University is honored to announce its selection as the Palestinian coordinator for the “Multidisciplinary Intervention to Support Higher Education in Palestine,” a significant three-year project led by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) Jerusalem, in partnership with the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Dr. Fadi Kattan, Executive Vice President at Bethlehem University, will oversee this collaborative initiative, leveraging his extensive experience and longstanding partnerships with Italian universities. This initiative will enhance Palestine’s higher education sector by fostering academic exchanges, faculty and student mobility, and strengthening research collaboration between Palestinian and Italian institutions.

Dr. Kattan highlighted Bethlehem University’s commitment to promoting educational excellence and international cooperation, noting that this partnership builds upon years of successful collaborative initiatives with Italian universities. He further emphasized that this initiative aligns perfectly with the University’s mission to develop strong global academic relationships and foster cultural and intellectual exchange.

Bethlehem University deeply values this opportunity to advance higher education, foster intercultural dialogue, and contribute to sustainable development in Palestine alongside AICS Jerusalem, the Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education, and prestigious academic partners such as the University of Perugia.
