Radio Maria Lebanon began its journey in 2022, with the aim of spreading Catholic teachings, cultivating the faith and promoting the message of the Church through its diverse programming.

The birth of Radio Maria Lebanon took place in the tumultuous context of the Lebanese economic crisis and the resulting political instability. Despite these difficult circumstances, the station has managed to build a substantial following and play a crucial role in the lives of the Lebanese people by offering a wide range of spiritual and educational programs.

Radio Maria is a beacon of hope in a country facing numerous challenges, and through its broadcasts offers a message of unity and peace, serving as a comforting presence for those in need. By responding to the spiritual and emotional needs of its listeners, Radio Maria provides invaluable support and encouragement among Lebanon’s poorer communities, promoting a sense of hope and resilience in the midst of adversity.

This radio is known for being a unifying voice among the various Christian denominations. It serves as a platform to promote dialogue, share religious teachings and promote unity among the different Christian communities in Lebanon.

The station dedicates special programs to the Virgin Mary, supporting various activities that highlight Her spiritual influence in the lives of the faithful.

Radio Maria Lebanon’s next challenge is to increase the number of volunteers in the current team which is made up of three collaborators, the priest director and the president. This initiative aims to improve the radio’s ability to provide exceptional content and better support the local community by using its mobile studios to engage local worshipers with prayer links and key events.
