The Ferrero Rocher chocolates were inspired by the Virgin Mary

By Munir Bayouk/ en.abouna.org :

It is a world that is full of strange events. With the sunshine of everyday, people come across strange events and facts that seem remarkable and ineffable.

One of the strange things is that the popular chocolate and hazelnut treats were named after the Rocher de Massabielle, the site of the Marian apparition in Lourdes.

It is to be noticed inside the golden wrapper of a Ferrero Rocher chocolate there is a multilayered sweet that looks a bit like a rock, namely a toasted hazelnut placed in a wafer shell filled with hazelnut cream, with a chocolate coating with pieces of hazelnuts.

These infatuating chocolates were inspired by the Blessed Mary. They are even named after the site of the apparitions of Lourdes, namely "Rocher”--the craggy rock grotto, called the Rocher de Massabielle, which marks the place where the Blessed Mother appeared to St. Bernadette in Lourdes, France.

Upon marking the 50th anniversary of the foundation of his company, Ferrero said: “We owe the success of Ferrero to Our Lady of Lourdes; we can do little without Her."

With the sweetness of the taste of Ferrero Rocher chocolates, it is to admitted that Blessed Mary is far tastier than these chocolates for She gave birth, through Her immaculate conception, to a Savior of the World, namely the Prince of Peace, Lord Jesus Christ Who had His blood shed on the Cross to save humanity.
