In response what they claim was the persecution of their sister Muslims by the Coptic Christians in Egypt, ISIS marched 21 Coptic Christians to a beach in Tripoli, Libya, and brutally murdered them, beheaded every one.
This was published it in their magazine called “Daash” and released on Friday, February 13, 2015. After marching these Christians to the beach, they were executed and then beheaded.
ISIS declared in its magazine that every Muslim must kill Coptic Christians wherever they are found. Their statement says: “And thus, the Islamic State strikes terror in the hearts of the Copts after it strikes terror in the hearts of their Catholic allies before... Finally it is important for Muslims everywhere to know that in the great reward to be found on Judgment Day for those who spill the blood of these Coptic Crusaders wherever they may be found”.
ISIS did not declare the method of killing these Coptic Christians on the beach, nor did they show beheaded bodies in the magazine photos. But they did show dead bodies that were executed by a bullet to the head. In 6 villages north of Minya, Egypt, the families of the Coptic Christians were in agony:
