Strengthening international partnerships and opening new doors for academic collaboration, the American University of Madaba (AUM) has proudly taken part in the Erasmus+ Cooperation Seminar for Austrian and Jordanian Higher Education Institutions, held in Vienna and represented by Dr. Doa Jarrar from the Human Resources Management Department at the Faculty of Business.

Organized jointly by the Austrian agency OeAD-GmbH – Agentur für Bildung und Internationalisierung and the National Erasmus+ Office – Jordan, the seminar brought together leading representatives from Jordanian and Austrian universities to exchange ideas, foster meaningful partnerships, and explore new opportunities for academic mobility and cooperation through Erasmus+. The program also featured visits to the United Nations premises in Vienna and the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, enriching discussions on global education, innovation, and international engagement.

The event concluded with a reception hosted by H.E. Mohammed Hindawi, Jordanian ambassador to Austria, reflecting the strong and growing relationship between Jordan and Austria in advancing education, research, and international collaboration.
