Jordan: Hungary official visits Caritas offices, presents medical aid

On Wednesday, November 2, 2022 Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó visted Caritas Jordan offices in Amman. Upon arrival, he and the  accompanyng delegation were welcomed by Chargé d'Affaires at the Apostolic Nunciature in Jordan Monsignor Mauro Lalli, Caritas Jordan Director Mr. Wael Suleiman, and Caritas Jordan members of staff in the presence of Hungary Ambassador to Jordan Attila Kali and Regional Official of of Hungary Helps Mr. To'meh Jbara.

 

During the visit, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó  presented the medical aid provided by the government of Hungary which targets refugees and Jordanian host communities. Stressing that Hungary will always be ready, as has been the case all the time, to support the vulnerable, he praised Jordan's role in maintaining stability and highlighted the  importance of the projects carried out  by Caritas Jordan.

 

For his part Mr. Wael  Suleiman paid tribute to the people and government of Hungary for their continuous support that aims to serve humanity, especially the refugees and the needy.

 

Hungarian official visits Latin Vicariate in Amman

 

on the other hand, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó visited  the Latin Vicariate in Amman. he was welcomed by Latin Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Jamal Khader, Archbishop of the Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Petra and Philadelphia and Entire Jordan Joseph Jbarah, Chargé d'Affaires at the Apostolic Nunciature in Jordan Monsignor Mauro Lalli, and Fr. Ibrahim Dabbour who represented the Greek Orthodox patriarch.
