The Austrian Embassy in Amman has announced that the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies @riifs_jordan was awarded a special recognition for their project "Living Together in Harmony" as part of the prestigious Intercultural Achievement Award (IAA) 2024, from the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Austrian Ambassador H.E Dr. Marieke Zimburg, welcomed the guests at the Austrian residence, congratulated the team, emphasized the high relevance of the project and presented the representatives of RIIF with the respective certificate.

The project “Living Together in Harmony”, was implemented by the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies, in cooperation with @caritas.jordan, @crescendomusicart and with the support of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs @francejordanie.

The project addresses post-conflict trauma by bringing together Jordanians and Christian Iraqi refugees’ children and adolescents through cultural exchange and music workshops, focusing on essential themes such as human rights, communication, and fostering empathy across cultures and faiths.
