The installation process of Saint Charbel's largest statue got under way Friday, August 25, at the Cross Mountain in Faraya after it had been delicately transported from Haret Sakher over the weekend.

The height of the sculpture is 23.3 meters and it is 9.30 meters in width; its external structure is made of GRP SKIN while internal beams and bars, aimed at reinforcing the external structure, are made of fiberglass material so it can withstand bad weather conditions.

The internal fillings of these bars incorporate wood treated with scientific methods so that it do not decay with time.
