The Latin Vicariate in Jordan--represented by Bishop Iyad Twal, priests, deacons, nuns, and the faithful throughout Jordan--expresses its pride in the General Intelligence Department’s thwarting of a terrorist attack aimed at the security and stability of our beloved homeland.

The Latin Vicariate calls on the members of the extended Jordanian family to enhance rallying behind the wise Hashemite leadership, the state, and its national institutions, as well as to assiduously strive to consolidate national unity in order to protect our beloved Jordan.

We plead with God--during these blessed Lenten days--to shield Jordan from all kinds of evil, to perpetuate its security and stability, as well as to support with divine blessings His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Al-Hussein Ibn Abdullah II, as well as the efforts they exert to serve peace and justice in beloved Palestine and to strengthen national unity in our beloved Kingdom.
