Mexico: Mary, Mother of God, is the joy of children, young people
en.abouna.org :

Throughout the month of October the children and youth of the Maronite Parish of St. Charbel of Chihuahua-Mexico have been praying the Rosary with much love to the Mother of God.

On this occasion, they prayed in the gardens of the parish next to the statue of St. Charbel with enthusiasm and joy.

They placed a giant Rosary in the hands of St. Sharbel and carried in procession the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe, patroness of Mexico, and all the children sang, prayed and praised God through the intercession of the Virgin Mary.

They took advantage of the moment to offer the prayer of the Rosary for the Synod of Bishops opened by Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi on October 23 for the Maronite Church and also prayed for the missions around the world on the occasion of World Mission Sunday 2021 which was celebrated on October 24 with the motto: “We cannot but speak about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20), thinking particularly of the missions in the Middle East, their beloved region.

On World Mission Day, which we celebrate each year on the penultimate Sunday of October, we recall with gratitude all those men and women who by their testimony of life help us to renew our baptismal commitment to be generous and joyful apostles of the Gospel.

May Mary, the first missionary disciple, increase in all the baptized the desire to be salt and light in our lands (cf. Mt 5:13-14).
