During the month of August, Radio Maria Ecuador took part in the traditional pilgrimage of Our Lady of El Cisne, one of the most important expressions of faith in the country. Radio Maria Ecuador accompanied this experience of faith with special nationwide coverage on its radio network.

The pilgrimage began on 17 August, when large numbers of pilgrims set out on their journey accompanying the image of Our Lady of El Cisne. On 17 and 18 August, Radio Maria was there to share the activities, testimonies and moments of prayer that marked this journey of faith. Through its broadcasts and other content, the radio enabled those who could not be physically present on the pilgrimage to feel part of this encounter with Mary.

On 20 August, the pilgrimage reached Loja, marking the beginning of the celebrations for the feast of Our Lady of El Cisne. The arrival of the image was greeted with great joy and a deep spirit of prayer by the pilgrims, who once again had walked placing before Mary their intentions, gratitude, concerns and hopes.

The pilgrimage of El Cisne is much more than a journey from one place to another. It is a journey of faith that brings together families, communities and pilgrims who, moved by their love for Mary, set out to meet her and, guided by her hand, to draw ever closer to Jesus Christ.

Through its presence, Radio Maria Ecuador renewed its mission to accompany the People of God, bringing prayer, celebration and the message of the Gospel to every corner of the country. For wherever the People of God are journeying, Radio Maria also wants to be there, accompanying them through its voice and prayer.

Radio Maria Panama participates in the 2026 International Book Fair

Under the theme “The path of thousands of stories,” Radio Maria Panama took part in the 2026 Panama International Book Fair, held from 25 to 30 August at the ATLAPA Convention Centre.

Throughout the event, Radio Maria Panama welcomed writers, readers, families and visitors to its stand, taking part in this important gathering dedicated to literature, culture and knowledge.

The 2026 edition placed a special focus on the Panama Canal, an extraordinary feat of engineering that connects the world and stands as one of the most important symbols of Panama’s national identity.

Radio Maria Panama’s participation also provided a valuable opportunity to meet its listeners, share its mission and strengthen its relationship with the many people who visited the stand during the fair.
