Radio Maria Malta has celebrated an important milestone: the 30th anniversary of its presence and mission on the Mediterranean island. Founded in 1995, Radio Maria Malta was the second Radio Maria to be established in Europe, right after Radio Maria Italia, thus bearing witness to the rapid expansion of the Marian project across the continent.
To mark the occasion, a solemn Thanksgiving Holy Mass was held at the Church of Our Lady of the Grotto in Rabat, a symbolic location, dear to the Marian devotion of the Maltese people. The Eucharist was presided by H.E. Archbishop Charles Jude Scicluna, Metropolitan Archbishop of Malta and President of the Maltese Episcopal Conference. In his message, he emphasized the importance of Radio Maria as a tool for evangelization and spiritual closeness in the homes and hearts of the faithful.
In attendance was Raffaele Galati, European representative of the World Family of Radio Maria, who conveyed the greetings and affection of the entire international network, recognizing the historical and spiritual role of Radio Maria Malta within the greater project of global evangelization.
Thirty years of broadcasts, prayer, catechesis, and closeness to the people: Radio Maria Malta continues its journey with enthusiasm and faithfulness, confirming its role as a living voice of faith, under the loving gaze of Our Lady.
