Radio Maria marks 21st annversary as the voice of hope for Mexico

radiomaria.org :

Radio Maria Mexico has joyfully celebrated another year of broadcasts for the Mexican Republic, with various events. Among the most significant ones was the Holy Eucharist, celebrated early in the morning, with a homily by our director Father Jorge Antonio Luna, who invited us to follow the example of the Virgin Mary who goes to visit her cousin, Saint Elizabeth, just like Radio Maria, through the airwaves, reaches out to all those who need her. Father Luna also invited us to reflect on the good that our Radio has done in these 21 years and on how important it is to continue working in order to reach more and more people in the country.

In the afternoon we had the opportunity to share with all our listeners and volunteers, in the Charles Chaplin auditorium, a great conference with Manuel Capetillo, a man of many qualities: an actor, bullfighter and businessman, who thanks to a trip to Medjugorje learned about the message of the Blessed Virgin Mary and since then has  abandoned his activities to dedicate himself to preaching the importance of the Holy Rosary. In his conference he reminded us that we are soldiers of the heavenly army and our weapon is the Holy Rosary; that, as we face the difficulties of life, we must not stop trusting that God, through Mary Most Holy, will always be present to help us overcome the trials of life and that today more than ever we need to pray the Rosary so that Mexico may not be lost. With the participation of our listeners and with a welcome message from our president, Psc.

Juan Antonio González and our director, Father Jorge Luna, we concluded what was truly a moment of joy for all of us who belong to Radio Maria Mexico. The celebration, however, is not over yet, as we prepare for the great procession of all radio frequencies to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico in September, which we will be happy to share with you through this medium.
