The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe, was an historic day for Radio Maria Portugal, with broadcasts starting in the region of Alentejo, in the south-east of Portugal. It is now possible to listen to Radio Maria via the 97.5 FM frequency.

Broadcasting began with the celebration of the Holy Mass in the presence of the Archbishop of Évora, H.E. Mons. Francisco José Villas-Boas Senra de Faria Coelho, who consecrated the radio station to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. May this grace bear fruit for all listeners of Radio Maria Alentejo!
