The representatives of the American countries where Radio Maria is present have met at the American Continental Meeting in Mexico City, at the foot of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This event is held every year on each continent, to analyze and define the work strategies of all the Radio Marias worldwide. This year the first meeting took place in Africa, then in America, Europe and finally in Asia.

The specific feature of this year’s meetings is the focus on reviewing and putting into practice the conclusions of the World Conference held in October 2024 in Milan, Italy, in which all the Radio Marias of the world took part. The conclusions are drawn from five key points, namely identity and spirituality, technological development, organization, mission and project sustainability.

The conclusions of the World Conference were developed further in the American meeting with presentations from several Radio Marias, and adapted to the reality of each radio station on the American continent.

The American meeting was attended by members of the World Family of Radio Maria, led by its President Vittorio Viccardi and Vice President Alicia del Cid, who is also the continental representative. The president of Radio Maria Spain, José Manuel Diez, was also in attendance. Radio Maria is God’s project led by Mary, a radio of hope for the world.
