The session discussed the role of media, in its capacity as one of the basic and necessary forces for any comprehensive and integrated plan, in building peace and enhancing social cohesion in the Arab region. It also shed light on the importance of journalism dedicated to dialogue in building a new concept based on abandoning biased reporting, and focusing on the common good of societies in news reporting.
