Why do people buy demonic board games which are marketed as ‘Christian’?
The Catholic Church firmly condemns the use of Ouija boards, and similar ones, as a form of occult participation and divination.

In a world abounding with several types of evil represented in wars--which result in numerous forms of destruction to societies--that kill bodies, the world currently comes under the influence of certain demonic activities represented in certain practices that kill the souls and send people into a bleak abyss that has no end.

Among the recent phenomenon is the marketing of “broad games” as Christian, at a time when it is demonic. In this regard, Catholic exorcist Fr. Ernesto Caro warns that what is being marketed on Amazon as a Christian “Holy Spirit” board game is “not a game” at all but instead “a trap from the devil.”

Actually, this is one of the demonic traps that shoves people into the trap of evil, as Satan is always looking for different ways to trap all victims who fail to find a way out.

This board game’s packaging claims it allows people to “communicate directly with Jesus Christ” and its online advertising says it is “perfect for churches, prayer groups, or just getting together with friends.”

The game’s layout is very similar to that of a Ouija board, but it features Christian imagery including images of God, the crucifixion, angels, and a dove. Its description says, “get the answers you need! The Holy Spirit Board can answer all of life’s most important questions, straight from the man himself!” and assures potential buyers that “unlike other spirit boards, this one will never contact evil ghosts or demons, so one can ask questions with an assured sense of safety.”

As an exorcist, Fr. Caro warns Christians not to be fooled and that using the board would be “opening a door that could be dangerous for all.” He encourages Christians who have bought the game to “repent and ask God for liberation” by going to confession and by asking the priests to give an extra blessing for protection.

The Catholic Church firmly condemns the use of Ouija boards, and similar ones, as a form of occult participation and divination.

Actually, humanity is facing a fierce battle with Satan’s presence is no longer hidden as it is open and clear. Among  some of its manifestations is that some 300 Catholic churches have been attacked in the United States alone since May of 2020, at a time when  the number is increasing.  It is also alarming to note that thousands of people state openly they are witches, wiccans, practitioners of occultism, and satanists.

The Holy Bible reacts to this situation as stated in (Ephesians 6:12), “For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the Principalities, against the Powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

In a world that has been dominated by materialism, it is important to resort to spirituality by maintaining  a robust and incessant relationship with Lord Jesus and  seeking His company in every moment of life. It is important to note that the believers are provided by powerful weapons that scuttle demonic aggressions, one of which is the “Blood of Jesus”. Satan does not have the capacity to penetrate the blood of Jesus. Thus, in the journey of life one must know how to seek and engage the weapon of the scared blood of Jesus in the battle against evil.

It is important to plead the blood of Jesus. The Holy Bible says: "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12) Actually, Lord Jesus lives inside of us, and He empowers us through the Holy Spirit to overcome the enemy and defeat every principality and ruler of the darkness of this world.

Consequently, it is important in this regard to pray saying, “In the name of Jesus I command all demons that could have any influence over me to leave me forever. By His blood and resurrection, I command all evil spirits to leave me in the name of Jesus, my Savior and Lord, leave me.” Amen.
