Holy See Apostolic Nuncio to Jordan Archbishop Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso has lauded abouna.org websites and the media message they have been performing for the past 20 years in the service of spreading news relevant to the Catholic Church, as well as to the sisterly Churches through a sublime and well-known ecumenical spirit. He also praised the role played by the abouna websites and the Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) in Jordan in enhancing the values of brotherhood and cordiality among peoples in a spirit of human brotherhood, especially between Christians and Muslims in Jordan and the Middle East.

This was reported during the visit that CCSM Director Fr. Dr. Rif'at Bader paid to the Apostolic Nunciature in Amman on Wednesday, March 29, during which he met  with  accredited Apostolic Nuncio to Jordan His Excellency Archbishop Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso and conveyed to him well wishes following his arrival in Jordan, for presenting his credentials as an accredited nuncio to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in addition for celebrating his first Holy Mass at Our Lady of Nazareth Church in Sweifieh, western Amman, on March 27. 2023.

During this first meeting between the CCSM director and the new apostolic nuncio, discussions focused on the current diplomacy of the Holy See particularly with regards to the role of media in the service of truth, communication with peoples, as well as serving the forcibly displaced and religious freedom.
