On November 5, 2025 American University of Madaba (AUM)  President Professor Mamoun Akroush  welcomed Dr. Marc-Antoine Zabbal, president of the American University of Cyprus (PUCY) .

During the meeting, the discussions focused on avenues to promote mutual academic and scientific cooperation which include exchange of academic and research expertise, student and faculty members exchange programs, as well as  holding joint conferences and workshops aimed at enhancing international academic relations and expanding horizons of learning and development opportunities.

During the meeting, Professor Akroush emphasized the AUM's commitment to building strategic partnerships with prestigious educational institutions worldwide which have a positive impact on developing the AUM's educational and research environment, in addition to enhancing the capabilities of its students and faculty members.

These meetings fall within the framework of AUM's ongoing endeavors to boost its relationships with international universities and strengthen its academic presence on the global stage in a way that aligns with its vision of providing a distinguished educational environment based on openness, cooperation, as well as exchange of knowledge and expertise.
