On January 2, 2025, the American University of Madaba (AUM) and the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) signed a fruitful cooperation agreement aimed at fostering effective integration between academic and practical applications. This initiative aligns with national efforts to enhance education and improve graduate competencies.
This significant agreement provides the university and its students with valuable opportunities to engage directly in a variety of practical projects, including those in civil and military industries. It places particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity—two rapidly evolving and critical fields.
The focus on these fields aligns with the Royal vision to enhance the outcomes of higher education, improve graduate capabilities, and optimally prepare them to enter the labor market with confidence and competence.
The agreement was signed by AUM president Prof. Dr. Mamoun Akroush, and Director General of the Bureau Brigadier Engineer Ayman Al-Batran, in the presence of several officials from both parties.
