Minister of Government Communications and Official Spokesman Dr. Mohammad Momani has met with Director of the Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) in Jordan Fr. Dr. Rif'at Bader with discussions focusing on strengthening cooperation, especially with regards to media coverage of the inauguration of the Church of the Baptism of Lord Jesus Christ at the Baptism Site.

Minister Momani pointed out that the meeting touched on the great efforts and final touches to inaugurate the Church of the Baptism of Jesus Christ at the Baptism Site on Friday, January 10. He expressed hope that all media outlets will take part in this important event, and stressed that the Ministry of Government Communications is ready to facilitate the work of journalists so as to provide worthwhile media coverage.

For his part, Fr. Bader praised the ongoing media cooperation between the CCSM, the Ministry of Government Communications, and all media institutions operating in the Kingdom, noting that the inauguration of the Church of the Baptism of Lord Jesus Christ on January 10, will be a major and important event, as it will be headed by the personal envoy of His Holiness Pope Francis, His Eminence Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, with the participation of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem and President of the Assembly of Catholic Ordinaries of the Holy Land  His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
