bethlehem.edu :

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting Palestinian youth and aligning education with the needs of the job market, Bethlehem University recently participated in two major conferences in Hebron, held under the patronage of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in collaboration with national and academic institutions.

The first event was the Palestinian Universities Conference and Exhibition, organized by the Palestine Public Relations Association, which focused on helping high school students explore academic paths that match both local and global job market demands. Bethlehem University representatives showcased the University’s range of academic programs, and highlighted the importance of high-growth fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy, Information Technology, and Applied Engineering, disciplines central to building a resilient, knowledge-based Palestinian economy.

The University also participated in the “Resilience and Challenge” Conference, hosted by the Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with Yes Company. This event focused on bridging the gap between academic programs and labor market needs. During the sessions, Bethlehem University representatives highlighted the importance of guiding students toward future-ready disciplines and the critical role that universities play in shaping national development. They also emphasized the value of strong partnerships between educational institutions and the private sector to expand job opportunities and provide students with meaningful, hands-on experience.

Bethlehem University’s participation in these conferences reflects its broader vision of preparing well-qualified graduates who contribute to the development and sustainability of Palestinian society. These efforts reaffirm the University’s ongoing commitment to responsive, student-centered higher education that evolves alongside the needs of the community.
