bethlehem.edu :

The Institute for Community Partnership at Bethlehem University has launched a training course titled, “Practical AI for University Students and Enhancing Employability.”

The course aims to equip university students with practical skills in using modern Artificial Intelligence tools, including ChatGPT, Gemini, and NotebookLM, to support their academic work and prepare for the job market. Training focuses on practical applications such as drafting and summarizing content, generating ideas efficiently, and using AI responsibly, with emphasis on the ethical and professional aspects of these technologies.

The course brought together 24 third- and fourth-year university students from the parishes of Bethlehem, Beit Jala, and Beit Sahour, including 20 Bethlehem University students.

The training is part of the AFAQ Project, implemented by the Institute for Community Partnership at Bethlehem University and fully funded by the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem. The project aims to promote economic empowerment, improve employability, and develop skills that respond to the changing demands of the labor market.

By introducing students to practical applications of Artificial Intelligence, the training provides an opportunity to strengthen both their academic and professional skills and better prepare them for a rapidly changing workplace.

The initiative reflects Bethlehem University’s commitment to supporting young people in developing relevant skills, embracing technological advancement, and using emerging technologies to enhance their academic performance and employment opportunities.
