On Saturday, April 12, Latin Patriarchal Vicar in Jordan Bishop Iyad Twal, accompanied by Secretary General of the Latin Vicariate, visited the Caritas Jordan general administration building in Jabal Amman, where he was welcomed by Caritas Director Mr. Wael Suleiman, and members of staff.
During the visit, Bishop Twal listened to a briefing on Caritas Jordan's activities, particularly over the past ten years, which have witnessed remarkable development in the scope and quality of humanitarian as well as social services being provided across the Kingdom. The meeting also included a detailed explanation on various Caritas' sectors in addition to the most prominent activities and initiatives implemented to serve the most vulnerable groups.
Bishop Twal commended the efforts undertaken by Caritas Jordan in serving humanity, and emphasized the importance of continuing this noble mission which expresses the Holy Bible's values of loving one's neighbor and helping those in need.
