By Munir Bayouk/ en.abouna.org :

On Wednesday, August 19, 2025, Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Iyad Twal patronized a celebration held by the General Administration of Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan designed to honor excelling high school students at Al-Jubaiha School hall.

During the ceremony, Bishop Twal took pride in the graduation of a new batch of students from the Latin Patriarchate Schools saying, "Today, we are experiencing a unique moment of jubilation, as academic graduation  that exudes a special and distinctive flavor, unlike any other occasion."

He added, "Today, I express pride and honor marking the history of our schools, the schools of the Latin Patriarchate in Jordan, which are replete with benevolence, dedication, education, and teaching. Since 1869, when the first school was established in the city of Salt, our mission had been clear, namely to build human capabilities through knowledge and faith, as well as to provide an education rooted in values and open to life. Since then and until the opening of our latest school in Al-Wassiyeh in 2000, this blessed procession of benevolence, love, and service has continued assiduously in various Jordanian cities and villages. These are years marked by unstinting efforts, associated with an authentic mission, that do not turn back, but rather extend from one generation to another, while holding high the light of the Gospel and the spirit of true love."

On the other hand, General Director of the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan Fr. Firas Nasrawin said, "On this day, our celebration marks a distinguished group of our high-school students who have walked though the paths of success with their diligence and hard work, as they deserve to be honored not only for their grades, but also for their willpower, patience, and steadfastness in the face of challenges."

He also praised the efforts exerted by students and expressed his hope that this joy will continue to accompany them in their future endeavors. He underlined his belief that the future will bear the imprint of the Latin Patriarchate Schools that will remain present in their lives through the behaviors, skills, and qualities instilled in them which constitute in essence the "culture of the institution."
