Bethlehem University held a general faculty and staff meeting on Friday, September 6, 2024, marking the start of the new academic year 2024-2025. The meeting was opened by Professor Iman Al-Sacca, vice president for academic affairs, with a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs of the Holy Land.
During the meeting, the university’s recent changes were reviewed. Brother Hernán Santos, FSC, PhD, vice chancellor of Bethlehem University, discussed the new strategic plan for the university for the upcoming period 2025-2030.
Brother Jack Curran, FSC, PhD, vice president for advancement, announced that the university is beginning a fundraising campaign to purchase property adjacent to the campus that will provide necessary space to enhance its academic facilities.
Professor Al-Sacca then announced changes in the deanship of scientific research and the faculty of applied sciences, technology, and engineering, along with changes in the heads of some academic departments. She also thanked the staff who retired at the end of the last academic year. The deans of various faculties introduced the new faculty members who recently joined the university. Additionally, the university’s vice presidents introduced the new administrative staff members who joined the Bethlehem University family across different departments.
The university had concluded the registration process for new students for the 2024-2025 academic year, and they will officially start classes on Monday, September 9, 2024.
