At the invitation of His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi Ibn Muhammad, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Baptism Site Commission, and in the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Miriam Ghazi, Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Iyad Twal has participated in a workshop to discuss the future projects for church facilities and expansion plans at the Baptism Site where history and spirit meet. The participants gathered with a unified vision so that the site would remain a beacon for pilgrims and a living experience of faith.

Mr. Nadim Mu'asher and his sons, Mr. Shaker and Mr. Yazan, presented relevant ideas and architectural plans in the presence of Father Sergio, the prior of the monastery. Based on the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Ghazi, the participants agreed to implement a shared theological and historical vision that meets the various needs of pilgrims, while preserving the profound spiritual experience of visiting the site.
