Jordan: Bishop Twal celebrates Holy Mass in Northern Zarqa
By Munir Bayouk/ en.abouna.org :

On Saturday, March 14, Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Iyad Twal, celebrated Holy Mass on the eve of the Third Sunday of Lent at the Church of the Apostles in Northern Zarqa, during which the council of the parish’s scouts and guides were officially installed.

In his homily, Bishop Twal reflected on the teaching presented by Lord Jesus Christ through His encounter with the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well.

Pointing out to the contrast between the physical need for water and the soul’s need for spiritual refreshment, he noted that Christ granted the Samaritan woman and the people of her town the “Living Water,” from which whoever drinks will never thirst again, referring to the spiritual thirst that can only be satisfied by God’s presence in a people’s life.
