Apostolic Nuncio to Jordan Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso has patronized the celebration held by the General Secretariat of Educational Institutions marking the World Teachers' Day. During the celebration, academic and administrative members of staff who have completed 25 years of service were honored.

The ceremony was attended by General Secretary for the Catholic Schools of Jordan Father Dr. Ashraf Nimri,  Deputy Head of the Private Education Workers Union Dr. Ahmad Al-Shawabkeh, administrative  members of staff representing all the secretariat schools in the Kingdom, and a  number of priests, nuns, as well as the honorees and their families.

The celebration was held at the Rosary Sisters College School in Shmeisani, in an atmosphere of joy, appreciation, and gratitude for the educational efforts undertaken by teachers and administrators in serving the educational and humanitarian mission.
