An awareness lecture was presented on the importance of living in peace, and the role of the Ambassadors of Hope in disseminating peace and hope at schools, homes, communities and the world at large, as well as curtailing the phenomenon of human trafficking. Students were introduced to the significance and importance of the role of the Ambassador of Hope for every human being, especially the weak such as the elderly, the people with special needs, the poor, the orphans, the refugees and the immigrants. The spirituality of "Talitha Kum" was also explained, which stems from the words of Lord Jesus Christ in the Holy Bible, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." (Mark 5:41

The discussion dealt with establishment of the "Springs of Hope" initiative stemming from the "Talitha Kum" network throughout the world and in the Middle East including Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and Jordan. "The Ambassadors of Hope" team was established in Jordan by launching the first group of students from the five Rosary Sisters schools in the Kingdom, the second group of students from the Latin Patriarchate schools in Jubeiha and Marka, and from the Rosary Sisters School in Jabal Amman and Al-Misdar.

Furthermore, the Latin School in Jubeiha, marked the International Day of Peace at the school and prayed for peace, while pointing out the dire consequences of wars and the violation of human dignity.
