Jordan: Union of Religious Congregations holds meeting to meditate the mystery of Incarnation

By Munir Bayouk/ en.abouna.org :

On December 19, 2025 the Union of Religious Congregations in Jordan held the second meeting at Terra Sancta College marking the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations titled, “The Nativity: Why Did God Want to Incarnate?” The meeting was attended by nuns and supervised by the adviser of the Union of Religious Congregation, Fr. Rashid Mustarih.

The gathering provided a profound spiritual opportunity to reflect on the Nativity in its capacity as a proclamation of God's love and an invitation to live in fraternity and holiness amidst the challenges and difficult circumstances that plague the world. The nuns offered prayers to Lord Jesus Christ pleading with Him to be born anew in their hearts, as well as to grant the world the grace of peace and hope.

At the outset of the meeting, morning prayers were held followed by a lecture presented by Fr. Mustarih, who explored the significance of Incarnation, noting that God's Incarnation is an expression of His love for humanity and to grant it salvation.
