Let our students better understand the Holy Bible

lpj.org :

To help students better understand the Holy Bible, and in particular the Gospel, the Catechetical Office of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem recently published a new educational tool, funded by the Knights of the Order of the Holy Sepulcher in Belgium.

Made up of colorful silhouettes of biblical characters drawn on cork, this tool depicts the life of Lord Christ, from his birth to Pentecost, as well as important parables. It has been distributed to all the schools of the Patriarchate in Palestine (Bethlehem, Nablus, Zababdeh and the Ramallah area), as well as to all the Catholic schools in Ramallah, Bethlehem and the Jerusalem area. Catholic schools in Jericho and the Gaza area will also have access to it soon. It targets students from first grade to seventh grade.

Aimed at developing Christian faith education by introducing a new educational method, focused on interaction and participation rather than memorization, this new material aims to help catechists fulfill their mission of sharing the faith, and to familiarize students with the great biblical events, such as the Annunciation, the birth of Christ, or his crucifixion, death and resurrection.
