On Christmas Eve, the Holy Land of Our Lady community gathered in a profound spirit of faith, with hearts longing for the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Mass began in a reverent and subdued atmosphere, symbolizing the darkness of the world before the coming of Christ, the true Light.
With the joyful singing of the Gloria, the celebration of Christmas came alive, proclaiming the birth of the Savior and the light of Christ that dispels all darkness.
In his homily, Father Wissam emphasized the call to live a new birth in Christ, encouraging the faithful to return to their homes carrying within them the grace of Christ and the joy of His birth, becoming living witnesses of His love.
At the conclusion of the Mass, the procession with the Child Jesus took place, expressing the community’s desire for Christ to visit every heart and every home.
Following the liturgy, parishioners exchanged Christmas greetings in an atmosphere filled with love, joy, and unity, renewing their hope in the Lord’s birth within their hearts.
