The CCSM condemns the attack on the Church in Karak, mourns the martyrs

The Catholic Center for Studies and Media(CCSM) in Jordan mourns with deep sorrow and grief the victims of the painful crime that took place at the Hmoud Church, offers prayers for the fallen martyrs, wishes a swift recovery to the wounded, as well as expresses solidarity with their families and relatives.

The CCSM condemns this heinous assault on innocent people during a funeral service, which is a sacred religious and humanitarian occasion. It affirms its confidence in the Jordanian security services, and prays that God Almighty would grant them success in uncovering the circumstances of the crime, apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.

The CCSM affirms that such painful incidents will only make Jordanians more united, resilient, as well as more firmly committed to their national unity and to the values of brotherhood and common living, rallying behind the wise Hashemite leadership, represented by His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al- Hussein, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein Ibn Abdullah II.

Eternal rest grant unto the martyrs, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon them. May God keep Jordan safe, dignified, and united in the face of all challenges.
