On Monday, August 4, 2025, the youth committee of the Association of Eastern Christians in Jordan held a panel discussion titled, "The Christian Presence in Jordan: From History's Roots to the Present-Day Partnership," at the Baptist School in Amman.
Director of the Association of Eastern Christians in Jordan Ms. Lina Musharbash opened the panel discussion by delivering an address during which she highlighted the deep roots of Christianity in dear Jordan, and highlighted the firm nexus between Jordan's Christians and Muslims.
A number of speakers participated in the panel discussion, including Fr. Dr. Rif'at Bader, who delivered an intervention titled, "The Church, Its History, and Rootedness in Society: A Call not Isolated," in which he addressed the historical depth of the Christian presence in Jordan and its active role in national life.
Engineer Danny Samara also spoke about "The Christian Identity in the Modern Jordanian Society," where he elaborated on the interaction and the engagement within the contemporary social fabric. While journalist Ahmad Fayez Karaki touched on his intervention on "Common Living and the Role of Christianity in Tribal History," as he shed light on the social and cultural dimensions of the Christian presence.
The panel discussion was moderated by Mr.Khalil Halaseh.
