Caritas Jordan launches three voluntary camps for youth
By Munir Bayouk/ en.abouna.org :

Caritas Jordan has launched three voluntary camps for youth, in cooperation and participation of the Italian “No to War” association, for the period July 23-August 2, 2022 with the aim of exchanging experience as well as promoting social and voluntary work through field work with the needy and refugees.

A total of 60 Italian young volunteers from Italy participants will spend two weeks in every camp in Jordan, specifically at the parish of the Latin Monastery in Madaba Governorate. The camps program includes several activities, among which are field visits, launching educational projects with refugees, supporting the parish activities, in addition to the community work, and the organization of workshops and lectures.

These camps, which Caritas Jordan conducts every year, are held out of its belief in the importance of youth work in voluntary activities and in presenting its message of solidarity and service through the exchange of experiences.
