The Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM) in Jordan has announced the streaming of a new program that will be broadcast in succession focusing on the issue of the family. This coincides with the start of the year dedicated to the Christian family titled, "The Family of the Joy of Love," which was announced by His Holiness Pope Francis on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of his issuance of  the post-synodal apostolic exhortation “the Joy of Love” (Amoris Laetitia).

CCSM Director Fr. Dr. Rif’at Bader said in the introductory episode that was aired on Monday, April 5, that the new program consists of 24 episodes and that it is the fruit of cooperation between the CCSM in Jordan and the Austrian Catholic Porticus Organization and the Latin Patriarchate. He indicated that the program takes a beautiful name, namely "The Joy of Love" and it provides an opportunity to families to speak about themselves as well as their humanitarian and their Christian mission.

He pointed out that each episode consists of ten minutes, and centers on the question relevant to how the Christian families experience one of the sacred mysteries, and how they deal with the circumstances of daily life whether they are painful or joyful ones. He hoped that that these episodes will bring joy to all families during which the fragrance of  Lord Jesus Christ and the Christian hope will be disseminated, with the assertion that there are those who live the Christian life in Christian ways.

For his part, Fr. Bashir Bader, head of the Pastoral Center for Marriage and Family which is affiliate with the Latin Vicariate in Jordan, referred to a statement made by St. John Chrysostom in the 4th century in which he urged all Christians to live the Christian life all days, all times, and in all places. On one of the feasts, the saint and the teacher of the Church urged Christians to turn their homes into small churches.

He also pointed out that the celebrations marking the sacred mysteries and feasts are not social occasions, but are rather a reflection of the core of faith. He added that the program will present the life of holiness experienced by families so as to serve as an encouragement and a model for all families that may have forgotten their sacred message in this life.

The presenter of the new program, Nivin Haddad, also gave a welcoming address.

It is noteworthy that His Holiness Pope Francis has announced a year dedicated to the families of the the Joy of Love (from 19 March 2021 to 26 June 2022), marking five years of the issuance of the Apostolic Exhortation “the Joy of Love (Amoris Laetitia). The Pope indicated that this year will be an opportunity to reflect on the contents of this important document.
