On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, in the presence of His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, a three-year cooperation agreement was signed between the Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome and Saint Joseph Hospital in Jerusalem. The agreement aims to enhance specialized training in pediatrics and to strengthen clinical collaboration in managing complex medical cases, thereby contributing to improving the quality of healthcare provided to children in the Holy Land.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Tiziano Onesti, President of Bambino Gesù Hospital, and Dr. Jamil Koussa, Director General of Saint Joseph Hospital, in the presence of Ambassador Issa Kassissieh, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Holy See, and Sr. Valentina Sala of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Apparition.
