On Thursday, September 24, 2026, Fr. Gabriel Romanelli, parish priest of the Holy Family Parish and principal of the Latin Patriarchate schools in Gaza, welcomed some kindergarten children as they took their first steps into school life.

The youngest students were received by a team of teachers and two religious sisters, who accompanied them through their first hours in the classroom.

To help ease the transition and make their return a joyful experience, the children were welcomed with small gifts and a time of dancing and celebration, offering them a warm beginning as they stepped away from their parents and into their new school routine.
