In a gesture of appreciation, the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem has awarded Mr. Musa Hijazin the Gold Order of the Holy Sepulcher, the highest special decoration granted by the Patriarchate, in recognition of his ecclesiastical and national role, as well as his supportive initiatives that have contributed to serving the Church and society, as well as to strengthening Christian and national identity and affiliation in Jordan.

The decoration was conferred on him in an atmosphere filled with warmth and affection at his home by Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Bishop Iyad Twal, in the presence of family members, parish priest Fr.  Hanna Kildani, Secretary General of the Vicariate Fr. Imad Alamat, President of the Latin Ecclesiastical Court Father Aktham Hijazin, and Fr. Boutros Hijazin from the seminary.

The Gold Order of the Holy Sepulcher, with its spiritual and historical symbolism, is considered a distinguished mark of recognition from the Latin Patriarchate for those who sincerely and faithfully contribute to supporting the Church and serving society. This honor affirms the value of noble initiatives and underlines the shared nature of ecclesial service and its mission by all clergy and laity alike.
