Jordan: Children receive the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church
en.abouna.org :

On Friday April 17,  a total of 70 boys and girls from the parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Tla' Al-Ali, northwestern Amman, received the Sacraments of their first Holy Communion and Confirmation during a Holy Mass celebrated by Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Iyad Twal, in an atmosphere that exuded faith par excellence.

In his homily, Bishop Twal noted that “Christ is alive, close to us, and loves us.” He called on the children to live the spirit of the Resurrection with joy and courage and asserted that, after receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation, they are called to be “witnesses of the Resurrection” through love, forgiveness, doing good, and adhering to truth in their daily lives.

At the outset of the Holy Mass, parish priest Fr. Dr. Rifat Bader said that this occasion represents an important milestone in the journey of faith for the children who have been prepared for it with love and care, accompanied by priests, nuns, and teachers. He blessed them and their families, describing them as “new grains of incense” in the Church, while referring to them being witnesses of faith.
